When? Where? How much?
- Lesson at 7 p.m., open dancing 8-11 p.m.
- Admission is pay-what-you-can $5-$20 (cash only, but we take IOUs)
- We’re at Q Ballroom 24 New Street in Cambridge, MA.
Fusion for us means that we steal and adapt things from a range of dances to partner dance (or solo) to a wide range of music, whatever the DJ can get away with. Our community is about sharing the joy and release of connection – all ages, all backgrounds, all bodies, all humans. No partner or experience required.
Covid measures: Masks are still required and we strongly prefer good ones, KF95/N95/P100/etc. We have them for sale if needed. We bring additional air filters to the venue and ventilate as weather allows.
- Other stuff to know (rules and suggestions):No street shoes on the dance floor please (but socks are fine)
- No pics/video without permission from everyone in the shot
- We suggest a reusable water bottle (but will sell you a cup if you need one)
Mass Transit: We are a short walk from the Alewife T station and near the 78 bus line from Harvard Square.
Parking: there is some available onsite, but watch out for spaces dedicated to Enterprise Car Rental drop-offs (you can get blocked in by someone returning a rental car) and the restaurant in front. The daycare building across the parking lot is ok UNLESS IT IS SNOWING. Evolve Fitness is out of business and probably a closed construction site. The Whole Foods lot has generally been fine, the Apple Cinema lot also has been fine, but no promises on either.
